VoiceThread is a collaborative cloud based service into which users upload over 55 types of documents and other users can comment in five different ways (using voice, text, audio, or video). VoiceThreads can be embedded to show and receive comments on other websites, and exported to play as archival movies. It can be used for asynchronous learning with students commenting and adding discussions to a started VoiceThread.
