The Scandroid is a free program released under the GNU Public License for OS X and Windows environments designed to scan English verse in iambic and anapestic meters, either from a text file or entered by hand. The program explains its process as it scans the text, such as identifying syllables or lexical stresses, or dividing lines into feet, so users can learn about its analysis in addition from its output.
