StoryMapJS is a free tool to help you tell stories on the web that highlight the locations of a series of events. It is a new and stable tool and has been used by newspaper agencies like the The Washington Post, The times and by small travel bloggers. Pictures and videos can be added to map locations. The map updates to different areas as we move along the storyline. It has a friendly authoring tool. It is created by the Knight Lab in The NorthWestern University
