EURAC: Comparison Arcs

Comparison Arcs is a free proof of concept tool demonstrating a method for comparing the linguistic properties of multiple documents in graphical displays. Both texts may be searched in parallel for words, lemmas and parts of speech. This project is seeking partners for further development.

EURAC: Corpus Clouds

Corpus Clouds is a free Java demo of a novel interface to a corpus query engine. It aims to aid the user in exploratory search by providing visual information about frequency and distribution of search results in combination with the standard KWIC elements.

EURAC: Double Tree

Double Tree is a free, open source Java application providing a visualization component for supporting exploratory corpus analysis. It focuses particularly on analyzing concordances, and can also represent a KWIC for a single word by collapsing the contexts into a double sided tree. Each side of the tree can be expanded independently to browse the results.

EURAC: End to End

End to End is a visualization application for exploratory corpus analysis focused on collocations. This tool starts with two words and constructs a visual network of all collocations of those words within the corpus, while its interface enables interactive zooming and browsing of the resultant graph. Note: this tool is unavailable until licensing issues are resolved.

EURAC: interHist

interHist is a free visualization prototype offered by EURAC and implemented in JavaScript using the D3.js library. It enables users to interactively explore concordances from search queries and can accomodate large result sets in its display.

EURAC: Extended Linguistic Dependency Diagrams (xLDDs)

The Extended Linguistic Dependency Diagrams (xLDDs) is a visualization software package offered by EURAC and implemented in JavaScript using the Protovis tookit. The xLDDs shows dependency structures with dynamic interaction in its visualizations, and can accomodate various types of linguistic information.

EURAC: Structured Parallel Coordinates

Structured Parallel Coordinates is a free JavaScript data visualization tool offered by EURAC. It is intended for data that contains some kind of structure, such as temporal ordering, strings or ranked orderings. EURAC has provided several examples, such as ngram comparisons, (sub)corpus comparison and KWIC with live corpus queries.
